i am a medical assistant in ny and i don't really have any experience. i have sent out dozens of resumes and have not been successful. is there any advice anyone can give me on how i might be able to at least get an interview? thanks alot.:)

Do you call and follow up? Let them know your intrested. Call and say "just checking on my application.

the major hospital network websites? Here in PA, we've got different hospitals in one network. (West Penn Allegheny Health Systems is one comprised of a number of different hospitals in the Pgh. and surrounding areas). There are many openings for MA's on these websites for doctor's offices that are also part of the "network". There are tons of openings here. I'm in MA school now. If you PM me, I'll give you a couple links for MA forums.
I agree with the previous poster. Call and say something to the effect of "I sent in a resume a couple of weeks ago and I was wondering if anyone had gotten a chance to look at it."
