What are the going PRN rates in the south (I am in TN)? Mileage rates? Sorry I have been out a yr with family as have not kept up. Just want to make sure I am being offered fairly. I have 19 yrs in HH but experience never counts much!

FL

$18/hr skilled nursing, which is vents and trachs just about. Everyone else is paid LPN wages, which ar $16.50/hr.

Initial single visits: $45-$70 and $30 after with no compensation for gas. If you stay 2 hours at a case, it is still a flat $30.

That is just one agency. But I think others ar comparable.

Are you speaking of Home health intermittent medicare visits?

Those are about $45-$70 for the first visit and about $30 for all subsequent visits. But just know that sometimes you are stuck there for over an hour. You really have to organize your time.

I have done this almost 20 yrs...organizing time is no problem..just wanted to know if figures seemed fair.

Thanks
