Ok I need my CPR class...by the 21st. Anyone have any ideas as to where I should go for that? I don't exactly have much time...and most places don't offer it till next year. Please let me know. Thanks!

I pm'd you. :) Good luck!

I was in the same situation over the summer. All the classes at the red cross were done for the month, and I only had a week to get my paperwork in. I found a class at Oakwood hospital on a Friday night. You might try looking at the hospital education classes in the area, if red cross does not offer any more in December.

Also try some of the fire departments in your area. I had a friend in the same situation and she got hers with the local fire department. Good luck

Fire Depts and Ambulance companies are great resources in your area. You can also contact the AHA offices in your area to get a listing of approved places that teach under their protocol.

As long as you are registered for a class at HFCC and you have your license before you get into the clinical setting you will be okay. This happened to a lot of us that got our letters last July.

Hi classmate

I got my certification at the Royal Oak Fire Department. They may still have openings left.

Thanks everyone! I found a CPR class at Health Education Strategies by the 21st! Yay!

I got mine from Health Education Strategies a few weeks ago their pretty reasonable on the price and time, requiring just four hours of training. Good luck.
