Started classes 04/28, am thinking it's going to be a great career change (got laid off from my 2 previous jobs in another totally different field, felt it was time for a change, and a great opportunity presented itself with local classes followed by local employment, classes are paid for by a local hospital...win/win situation - provided I pass...heh)

I'm excited too. I am still waiting for my acceptance letter, but I got a 99% on my entrance exam (I think it was 99th percentile? or something because i KNOW I didnt get 99% of the questions right lol!)
I'm taking my general algebra 1 class starting in 3 weeks, and will start my "official" LPN courses in September. I got the go ahead to do this (yay! the stars aligned!) back in January or Febuary but this school only offers it starting once a year so I have to wait. I am admittedly going NUTS though. I just want to jump right in with both feet yesterday! I'm ready to be in school and learning and then I'm ready to be out of school and DOING.
I came from a mixture of accounting/administrative/IT background and it all left me feeling very unfulfilled at the end of the day. I'm 31 and I think I never really knew what was missing until one day I started turning over the idea of becoming a nurse and suddenly it all clicked into place. I have to many questions and patience is a virtue I'm lacking lol!
Good luck with your schooling!
