hey everyone! my name is shiloh and i'm 25 years old. i didn't graduate highschool in 2005 but i recieved my ged in 2009. afterwards i enrolled in cosmetology school in 2010 where i had planned to become a cosmetologist and then work while i attended nursing school. i went to cosmetology school for a year and my graduation date was june of 2011...when it came to me graduating they wouldn't let me graduate because, they said i didn't finish and that i owed them alot of money out of my own pocket which i didn't understand because, i got finanical aid and my tution was paid for. so i decided that i didn't want to be in that kind of environment and that i should just go ahead and get out and continue on my path for nursing. so i withdrew july of 2011 and enrolled at that same time to online nursing classes. i am currently taking associates of allied health science at a online univeristy which will take about 2 years to complete and then from there i plan to transfer to a local community college to get into an rn program. by taking the associates of allied health science it covers most of the classes i need for the rn program at my local college so it shouldn't take me long to finish my education. i hoping to have my rn within 3 years. i'm still not sure how it works. for the program i am in right now has about 24 courses and i am currently the 2nd course. my 1st course i passed with a b and so far in my 2nd course i have an a. so i'm doing good as of right now. i'm super excited and can't wait to see where this journey leads me. i look forward to reading other peoples' experiences and getting as much advice and input as possible. thank you so much for your time. and thank you for reading. :)
