Hesi Med-Surg exit exam

Any advice for taking the Hesi exit exam for Med-Surg?

Take practice quizzes as much as possible to simply get used to the "types" of question and way you need to think. This really helped me get into that mode of several right answers, but one is BEST.

When the question ask what you should do first remember that before you "do" anything you always assess. So look for the one reponse that suggests you assess. This is not 100%, but I would say like 98%.

Remember ADPIE...Assess, Diagnose, Plan, Implement and Evaluate. When reading the question look for where you are at in the ADPIE and you will know what your next step should be. See suggestion just before this. :)

During the test I wear headphones or ear plugs. It really helps drown out any noise so I can concentrate. If you are easily distracted during test taking you should try it.

Get plenty of rest, eat healthy and Good Luck!
