HESI heeelllpp!

Published

Hello Everyone,

I was wondering if anybody can suggest where to get help with Hesi exit exam? For purposes of not soliciting services on this blog I would greatly appreciate if you guys can send tutor information via my email ([email protected]) I live in Maryland. I am desperately in need of help. I have one more chance to pass my exit exam. If I dont pass with a 900 I am automatically kicked out of my program ;-(

I have purchased HESI comprehensive review textbook. I also have membership with yourbestgrade.com. At this point I noticed I need more than textbooks I need professional help :(

SOOO please guys I need HELLP!!

First time I took the exam I got a 630. Second time I got a 787. This third time I need a 900. Once again guys I really need help and I would greatly appreciate anything you guys suggest.

Thanks!

When is your next exam? How long are you allowing yourself to study weekly? Im also sorry to say that I really don't got anything for you because my school only requires the Kaplan. So that's the only thing I study for.

But I do have some tips for you:

1) Don't try to cram all that information into your head at once or days because you have to give yourself time. And if this is your last shot at the HESI then start giving yourself at the most 6 to 10 hours weekly by studying up to 2 hours daily. So if you test is in the next 3 weeks then you basically will not have a life for the next 21 days (this is actually how I studied for my AP psych exam in HS school and I got a perfect 5 on it which is the highest you can get).

2) Now as far as what to use to help you retain the info better...you just need to start studying your weekest points first. So if it's the math or science messing you up then those should be the first thing you'd start preparing for.

3) Do a practice test at the end of each week to see if you made impovement on and what you need to improve on (make sure you study all the wrong answers as well). But if you have not shown improvement still then you will need to go up to the maximum of 10 hours of studying time per week (make sure you give yourself breaks by taking a walk, wash a window, eat, ect). The 25 min breaks are the best.

Now if you only have days before your next exam then I highly suggest you to reschedule it a month later if you truly want that 900.

Thanks for the good advice ANMpreN, I appreciate it. Your right.

I have to retake the class over in January and then I will be taking my exit exam Spring 2016. I'm just a little nervous because I have a lot riding on this. I plan to start studying is September. In that case that will give me 4-5 months to study before I have to take the class. Do you think thats a good idea?

Because you have 4-5 months to study thenyou basically can now give your yourself up to 5 hours weekly of studying time. No more and no less because cramming more info into your head is not going to help you retain it better and not studying enough will not allow you yo retain the iinfo at all. Also make sure you're giving your self enough sleep to wake up everyday and fill rejuvenated enough to study again and sleep will also help with memory.

Thank you soooo much!!!
