Sacramento Chamberlain Hesi A2

Nursing Students HESI

Published

Hey everyone,

Im planning on attending Chamberlin in Sacramento for the Sep 2018 start date. I'm really nervous about my application because I really want to get into nursing school.

I'm really skeptical about the Hesi A2 admission test because I haven't taken A&P yet and I don't know where to start. I bought the El Savier 4th edition study book and I have been studying for other subject areas all week, I've also took the online Assesment tests that el savier provides and I score in the 90%, but I'm expecting the actual test to be a lot harder. I know the minimum is a 73% cumulative score overall, however the Sacramento location is more competitive. My current overall gpa is a 3.6 which my advisor said was great, but she also said to score in the 80's or 90's for my Hesi a2 exam which makes me really nervous because I haven't taken bio or chem in a year and I haven't taken A&P besides a short quarter in my medical assisting program 2 years ago. I a feeling confident for the other sections though.

does anyone have any words of advice or anything specific I should study for regarding ANY of the sections ? At chamberlain we have to take all sections except the physics.

any advice would be appreciated!! I take my Hesi on May 24 and then the second attempt on May 31, my advisor wanted to schedule me for both before the end of June.
