Hi there,

I just recently purchased the HESI Review book , also would recommend you do practice questions on all subjects , more so on subjects that you know you're weak at. Best of luck on your reviews!

Hi there!!

I just took the HESI A2 last week. I didn't study or use a test prep and I got an overall score of 95%. With that said everyone knows their strengths and weaknesses. So if you feel you need a study guide I'd go pick one up.... though I can't recommend one.

But I can say that with regards to math I'd focus on fractions, ratios, conversions, and decimals.

Vocabulary, I'd focus on antonyms and synonyms. On the grammar portion make sure you read the sentences closely. There were times I almost missed the differences.

And remember when you submit an answer you cannot go back and change it.

Good Luck!!

I took the HESI today, all sections except physics. I studied using the HESI review book and feel that it covered everything. I also used HESI A2 Study guide 2015 by Trivium Test Prep, this was also a great help. I practiced each day using the tests given in the book. Best of luck. Angela

Yes use the HESI evolve book its extremely helpful. Do the practice tests at the end of each unit. I would suggest doing the hardest parts first. Mine was Reading Comp. I had the lowest scores on this part I can read its just very tedious reading the stuff they test you on. I took the Hesi twice for two different schools. First time I thought because I could read that this part would be easiest so I did it last. I had 30-45 min left and bombed it 75! The easiest parts of the Hesi for me was the Math, (study study study this book) 96% both times or 97%. Then A/P 92% and Grammar I made an 87% then the second time around I made an 87% on reading comp. I suggest you take this first. Pace yourself on this part just because you can read doesn't mean you will make a good score.
