Let's get straight to the point, eh?

I took the sections: Grammar, Vocab, Reading Comprehension and Math.

Grammar: 84%

I would go over Mometrix(https://www.amazon.com/HESI-Secrets-Study-Guide-Assessment/dp/1609710142/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1512514934&sr=8-1&keywords=mometrix+hesi), or Elsevier Study guide (https://www.amazon.com/Admission-Assessment-Exam-Review-4e/dp/0323353789/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1512514957&sr=1-1&keywords=elsevier+hesi) and learn or re-learn everything in the grammar section. On the test there's a lot of "Which word is incorrect in the sentence." Read it out loud! See if it sounds right. So you'll have to apply everything you've studied. Know differences between: their there and they're; far, further; lay, lie; how to correctly use semicolons, colons, hyphens, subject-verb agreements, what to capitalize in a sentence. If you cannot purchase any of those books, you can always get them from barnes and noble and study them there or take pictures. OR you can just study from this website that basically has EVERYTHING you need to pass. Terms at Grammar Bytes! goes through those terms and familiarize yourself with it and you should do fine.

Vocabulary: 90%

There isn't a real way to study for this!! It's either you know the words or you don't. But a lot, mostly all of the words that they have on the test are on this Quizlet, so know and study them all. HESI A2 words Flashcards | Quizlet

Reading Comprehension: 90%

This section is just like taking any other comprehensive test like the GED, SAT, ACT etc. They ask for main idea, authors purpose, word or sentence meaning and for you to summarize the passage. They'll ask which sentence was not mentioned in the passage and you'll have to go back and see cause they'll usually re-write it. I used this website to practice on some questions to make perfect: Reading Quizzes

It's almost just like the test.

Math: 88%

This was basic math. A lot of proportions, adding and subtracting fractions, decimal to fractions, fractions to decimals, percentages to fractions, improper numbers to whole numbers. Make sure you know all conversions like pint to cups and gallons to fl oz or yards to feet.

I used these websites for practice tests:

Good morning! I take the Kaplan entrance exam on Friday and it is similar to the HESI Exam. It consists of math, reading, science, and writing. I will be using the websites like you mentioned to get help on the reading sections. Reading isn't my strongest subject when it comes to the comprehension part. Thanks for the helpful tips!
