Hi all,

I am scheduled to take NCLEX-RN on the 18th of June.

My question is, is did anyone score above 850 on HESI and fail NCLEX??

SWtooth, I will hopefully let you know by wed. I am taking mine tomorrow @ 1:00, so by Wed. I will know. I scored on both of them over 1000; made me feel good, etc. but right now I am wondering how good the predictor is myself. As soon as I take the NCLEX tomorrow I will post if I think they did a good job of prep or not. Stay strong, pray and study. I will post tomorrow night.

I don't think I want to know the answer to that question. I took my HESI on April 20th and had to have a 730 to pass, I got an 850. I have heard people have said the HESI was more difficult than the NCLEX. I test June 15th I should be studying right now.

Hi melissa,

I am taking NCLEX June 18 th and I scored a 1049 on HESI, which is why I am curious as to how accurate of a predictor it really is... I should be studying right now too :). Good luck

it is my humble opinion that the hesi sucks!!

i flunked all of them.. but got to graduate nursing school because of taking a hesi review course..

if you make like above a 700 on a hesi.. you will pass the nclex.. my opinion... the hesi is way harder than the nclex itself... so i wouldn't worry too much.. i wish you the best of luck.. you will do fine~~

Well...I am not sure about the Hesi being harder than the NCLEX..but here is my experience. I scored a 953 on my exit Hessi...I just found out today that I passed my NCLEX-RN.

My friend got an 1150 on the HESI and failed the nclex. She is now taking Kaplan with me. I haven't attempted the HESI yet, but from what I hear.......it is harder than the boards according to most people I have talked to.

I guess everyone's experience is different. I took my boards on Saturday, I am eagerly awaiting the results, but I found it much more difficult then the HESI. I got an 1000 on the exit HESI by the way. Prepare well for the NCLEX and good luck.

Hesi is not too accurate because in my opinion the Hesi is harder than NCLEX I had a hard time passing hesi, it took a couple of tries and I finally got it and passed the NCLEX on the first try with only 80-85 questions. I also have friends that passed Hesi on the first try and failed NCLEX.

I took the hesi. Im not sure what the score as far as the hundreds-- but I got an 84.4

I also passed the nclex.
