Hi,
i plan to take the hesi entrance exam in March at Lehman . I am so scared. I do have the evolve elvesier hesi studying book but I feel like I need other things to use to study. Can anyone recommend what to mainly focus on ? Did anyone take it? Was it hard ? I plan to study 1.5 per day one section then the next week I would jump into another section. I want to do my greatest so that I can hopefully start this summer ! I need tips about everything ! Am I allowed to retake it as well ? My goal is to give it my all and I’m ready!

So i focused so much on math i didnt realize how hard the grammer portion would be!! Still got an 88 in grammer. Know parts of speech etc. Math was alot of proportions. Know how to multiply fractions etc. Got asked alot of questions about gallons and pints and ounces, things like that. Look up 4 G's in a queen, drew that on my scratch paper as soon as i sat down. Made a 94 in math and a 92 in reading, which was the opposite of what i expected. I should have brushed up on my A&P a little more, but figured since I made an A in that class that i would ace that, i didnt make an A in that on the hesi though i made an 88, which i am ok with, but still a little disappointed. Biology portion was fairly easy imo, but maybe thats because i have taken general biology for science majors, along with the biology concepts taught in A&P and microbiology. It was mostly basic questions about things like the parts of the cell and photosynthesis etc. I made a 96 in the biology portion

What is this 4 G's in a queen you speak of? I tried googling and didn't find anything.
Haha i mispoke. 4 queens in a G. So you draw a big G. 4 q's inside the the G. Then two p's in each q and two c's inside each p. There is some story with it like there is a gallon castle with 4 queens, each had a prince and princess. and each prince and princess had two cats. Ok, so i know its really cheesy! But me just drawing the G with everything real quick at the beginning really helped me think of how many cups in a gallon and pints in a quart etc. especially after my brain started getting tired.
