Published

I am taking the HESI A2 exam this month and I was wondering of there were any practice exams online that anyone knew of? Or any helpful tips or advice ayone can offer me? I'm super nervous. I just signed up to this website today. Any help would be great. Thanks for any help!

I am about to take my HESI as well. Have no idea what to expect! Please let me know if you find useful info you could pass my way

Thank you yesitslaura. That was very helpful. Are there any practice test online or is it just the study guide? I have the study guide already.

I used the study guide by Evolve. It was definitely helpful for math, reading, grammar, and vocabulary, These sections were a breeze! Review the info and do the practice tests in the back. On the other hand, IMHO, the guide proved to be 75% useless for biology, a&p, chemistry (no physics test required by my school). While it gives some good info, the guide isn't as comprehensive as I wish it would be. Pay special attention to the "study hints" they provide. If you're looking to really prepare yourself...use those hints and refer to old textbooks and notes.

5 days of studying and I did really well.

Good luck everyone!

Thank you. I have that study guide and have been going through it. I did hear that it doesn't help you very well as far as the sciences go. But thank you again for all of the advice ladies!

hi, there is a hesi study book called nclex rn review with a cd that is just like the hesi exam. It has been helpful with my studies. Other than that Istudied my saunders book and did questions. Good luck. "WE CAN DO IT":)

Thank you! Do you happen to remember who the author was?

sorry all i remember is that its by hesi. So if you go to amazon put in search for hesi nclex-rn review it should come up. its a brown book.

i would say STOP being so nervous. i was too and it was a waste of my time. honestly to be direct the hesi is not that bad . anyone who cannot pass the hesi is not ready for nursing school yet. you need to have your basics down first. my hesi included everything and excluded the sciences but the a &p. just know the math. and study the vocab in the book. take it right after you finish your a&p 2. if you dont know your math it will come back asap and get you in nursing school super quick. oh and know it without a calculator cause you dont use a calculator in NS
