Hello to all!
I have a few questions,
I am currently enrolled at UT Tyler and recently found out I didn't get into the Nursing program for the fall, I am a transfer there with a 3.25. Non-transfers get first priority even if they only have a 2.75... which took up about 50/100 spots with close to 350 applicants.
I am re-taking A&P2 this summer to improve my GPA and taking the HESI June 9th.
UT Tyler requires the TEAS test and I did well on it. Is the HESI easier than the TEAS? This is just what I've heard....
Also -
What Nursing schools in TEXAS take the HESI?
Thank you guys for your time!

Here is an article that talks a little about the two...
HESI Exam vs TEAS Test | Teas Practice Test
The only thing that I have to disagree with the author on is the last statement about the hesi's. The author states that the hesi score is mainly weighted on math and reading. My school required that we obtain an overall score of 80 but a minimum of 75 in each individual area of the test which included chem, a&p, and bio. So know what your school requires of you. Just buy the study guide and brush up on anything that you have not done in a while. I will let you know that what gets most people is usually the chem and math. Good luck to you! :)
