stephany,

thanks for the hug. one going back to you (((stephany))).

remember "i can do anything i set my mind to!!!" say this over and over and believe it and it will happen.

a bit of test-taking strategy: my friends and i go into the testing room only about 10 minutes before time for the exam to start. we "go to the mountain" during this 10 minutes. what this entails is visualization. we close our eyes, relax, and visualize being at/on a mountain and talk out loud to each other about beautiful, peaceful, calming things we see. if you're not a mountain person, but prefer the beach or any or tranquil location...this will still work. it helps to calm our nerves, gets our mind off the exam, and is a wonderful relaxation technique. (one day you may tell a patient about this...lol)

happy studying everyone...good luck...and i'll see you "at the mountain" :)

THANK YOU!!! I NEEDED THAT HUG! I woke up today feeling like crap again... called in to school sick, but am gonna go anyway I think. The GUILT of not going and the FEAR I might miss something crucial means staying home would be more stressful than just going!

I will probably go and make an appearance and then leave if I don't feel any better. Way I see it, that way at least I will know I tried!

Sniffle -- they THREW me out of class! Just cuz I couldn't talk! Told me a sore throat could infect the entire class :uhoh21:

But at least I made the "heroic" effort of going. Hah... teacher can't call me undedicated, or a slouch or whatever terms they use for people who don't attend class or fake illness!

Stephany,

Thanks for the hug.

Everybody....

I will pray for all of you; being laid-off, I'm probably the only one

who has the time!! Make sure you all take some for yourselves

so you don't go nuts; even if its the 10 min. of visualization. But

do it EVERYDAY! Have a good week.
