I had a hard time answering this question, possibly because I was over thinking the answers!

The question stated that a patient had end stage renal failure and wanted to learn more about hemodialysis. What would you tell the patient?

A. Hemodialysis is required 3 times a week

B. Hemodialysis is required every day

C. There will be a catheter placed in your abdomen

D. Hemodialysis will end when your kidneys heal

I know D isn't right at all. C indicates peritoneal dialysis but we don't know what hemodialysis procedure the patient is looking into. And regular dialysis is three times a week and peritoneal dialysis is done every day. Some one help!!! Lol

B and C is similar ...D is already out so i will go with A :D

I would say A.

The correct is A because they need a day(s) to rest between tx.

I said A as well!!! I hope I got it right on my test. I was discussing this with my friend and it was frustrating because she put C and I just could not figure out her train of thought! Lol. I will update everyone and let them know!!

YEAH , THE CORRECT ANSWER Is A . Peritoneal dialysis is done daily and catheter inserted in d abdomen .
