I just took my boards yest. and went through all 265 questions! I checked my State's website today and it says that my temp. license is void and for me to send it back in. Does this mean I failed? I checked Pearson Vue's website and it says that there are no test results yet. I know another girl who took her's yest. and it says she's a RN on her status look up. Has anyone had experience with this? At this point, I know the chances of me passing are slim to none. I think I answered the last question right though. I feel so awful...I am in tears:crying2:

Failing the test will void the GN/GVN status. Anyway i wish you the best pending the :Dfficial result! Have you tried the Pearson vue trick?
I have not tried the Pearson Vue trick. What is it? I was hopeful last night and even today at work. As soon as I got home I checked both sites right away and my heart sank when I saw that my temp. license was void. It is the worst feeling ever. I can't even imagine having to sit there for 5 1/2 hours again. Thanks for your wishes....

maybe your temporary license is void because you passed and no longer need a temp one- But i cant say for sure as I am in a state that until you pass your boards can not work as a nurse, and there is no such thing as a graduate nurse- you a student who has graduated, and can not be hired or work as any type of nurse. I just saw your post and thats what comes to my mind- but either way good luck!
A graduate nurse is a student who has graduated and can work under a RN while training for 3 months or however long that temp. license is good for.

There is a big thread discussing the trick and if you check out the first post there is instructions on what to do.
It could mean you have passed if void. Have you checked out the state verification bit to see if you have a license issued?
Is that temp license good even after you pass the nclex? I would think that it would become null and void and you would work under your own license. It is so interesting how things are different in between states. I really wish we had a graduate nursing status- I cant get a job until i get my license number, it really stinks! Still waiting for the results! Good luck and wish the same for me!
I'm not sure. I know it's void if you fail and I think if you pass it just wipes it out. Either way...I'm not getting my hopes up anymore. I have to accept the fact, move on, and study harder. I wish you the best of luck. Hopefully, you won't be feeling how I'm feeling!! Good luck!
