Are there any CNA's in the NICU? I would like to start by using my CNA license to get aquainted, then once my lpn arrives utilize that.. until i become a RN... is that possible at all?

It will depend on the hospital. We never used CNAs, techs until recently, when we got a tech who stocks, cleans equipment and orders supplies. No hands on care.

thank you... I am supposed to be getting a job interview very soon at a very prestigious hosptial in the region... HOw can i ask that question with out sounds demanding or pushy?

Just mention that you are interested in NICU as a career path, and ask if there are any positions available that would allow you to better prepare you for a career as a NICU nurse.
