it depends on your program and how many clinical days ur allowed to miss, at my program you can miss 3 without any trouble each semester, it depends on how u plan this out, talk to the administrators at ur school about their rules

Talk to your profs ASAP! I have heard of tons of women who have gone through a pregnancy while in nursing school quite successfully! Granted, you will be 5X more exhausted than your classmates, but it is definitely doable as long as your school gives you the time. If your school only allows you 2 absences with no special circumstances, that would obviously be very difficult. Often, if you tell a prof up front as soon as you can that you are expecting and when you are due, you can schedule to do some homework while in the hospital/at home and make up a clinical or test on the weekend you come back. Good luck and congrats!

Yes i was pregnant and went thru LPN school. it was tiring and i had some difficulties. but i just graduated feb. 25. here's my story and i will try to make it brief :)
i started nursing school march 2009 in the evening program. found out i was pregnant in aug 2009. i failed out of cardiac disorders nov. 2009 and was able to recycle into the day program the next week of that month! the day program was very different than the evening program and it did stress me out i was not taking care of myself i.e. when at school i would hardly eat or drink...sooo i had to be put on bed rest in feb 2010 because basically my body was in starvation mode..had blood pressure issues and went into pre-term labor. which was stopped and i was on bedrest for 2 weeks. i went back to class not clinicals. then went on spring break the last week of march. i was still having blood pressure issues and they dellivered the baby on 4/3/10 1 week before my scheduled c section. so i did not continue with the day program. i got to stay home with my baby. then in june 2010 the director of the nursing program contacted me and asked if i was interested in coming back to school to the evening program..i started in july 2010 with pharmacology and really wasnt fulltime until about dec. 2010 b/c i had taken a lot of classes already and could skip some of them. so i would come to school only for the classes that i needed. and i just graduated! so thru all of that, if I can do it than surely u can too! just take care of urself! u will be tired but keep pushing! hopefully u will have dr.s and directors who are understanding and will work with you so that u can complete the program!! also my program was strict on absences etc. but u could def make up clinical time and if u get a no from whoever or they tell you to wait a while..it may be for your benefit..hope this helps!!:heartbeat
