Help need for Nelson Denny test

Hello,

I am a pre nursing student who needs help by a nursing student. I have to take the Nelson Denny Reading test. If their are any of you that have allready taking it study tips are needed. I google the heck out of Nelson Denny Reading test and was unable to find study books. If anyone who has all ready taken the test and know where I could buy a study review book.

Well...there really isn't anything to study for. It measures at what grade level you can read and comprehend english writing. Either you can or you can't..and if you can then at what grade level. Do some crossword puzzles in the New York Times or something like that if you want to prepare.

They give you lists and lists of definitions and contexts, and you have to chose the correct word. It's just to measure your reading comprehension and reading level in English. If you've gotten through prereqs, chances are good that you can already read at a grade 14 level, which was the cutoff for my program. You shouldn't need to study, although the crossword suggestion is a good idea. Good luck!

PS: What program are you applying for? Northern Arizona University required the Nelson-Denney, and I've yet to find another program that did.
