I ended up with Charcoal on one of my uniforms years ago. I think I may have tried Hydrogen Peroxide. It was so long ago I don't remember if it came out or not. I also had luck getting rid of blood stains and betadine using this. Until I was sure that it wasn't coming out- keep it out of the dryer. Good luck!

Try that OxyClean spray for laundry.
It got gel ink out of some blue jeans, for me.

I use the spray n wash that is in the pink and white bottle... it is dual action something or other... it has two liquids that combine when squirted out of the bottle. This stuff gets everything out! I was tye-dying this weekend and got some dye on a good shirt, and sprayed it with this before washing, and the dye is all gone. It's worth a shot... good luck!

The Oxyclean powder is my favorite laundry tool for messes. Removes red crayon, blue ink from ribbed tops, and about everything in between. Good luck! Be sure to let us know what works.

It may be too late for this outfit, but the next time this happens, take the clothes to a professional dry cleaner and ask them if the stain(s) can be removed. Asking for an opinion does not obligate you to have the item cleaned if the stain cannot be removed.
You might be pleasantly surprised to find that the cost of professional cleaning and pressing is less than what you would pay for special cleaning agents at the supermarket.

I have gotten charcoal on uniforms before and have not been able to get it out. I tried everything suggested above to no avail. I have talked to cleaners about it and some will tell you yes they can get it out and some will say no, but I haven't used a cleaner for it, just used the stained uniforms for working in the yard.
