help with injections

Can anyone help with an easy way to remember what needles to use for which kind of injections. I know that insulin is for insulin, but what about IM, Subcu, etc?

I always think about that too Im almost done iin nursing school this august!I always think about the im needle as being the biggest one because it goes into the muscle,TB and insulin are smaller!good luck!woodhaven,Mi:monkeydance:

Are you refering to the length or the gauge?

I typically use 22g 1.5 in for IMs. and 25-27g for SubQ....but it's very patient dependent.
