Hello all... For my fundamentals lab class, we have done transfers and wound care. However, i feel that i need more practice!.. Reading the steps in the textbook doesn't help me. I need to see it done. I was HOPING someone might have a website for steps (maybe with visuals? videos?) for different nursing skills...
Actually, any nursing websites that you have found to be helpful would benefit me.:loveya: Thank you.

any videos of procedures are posted on this sticky thread:
i recently found this website http://nursing411.org/courses.html that has procedure videos scattered throughout it's webpages. you'll have to explore it to find them since it is an online nursing course.

When we were learning to do physical assessments our instructor found clips on Youtube for us to watch. We watched them in class and then at home to review. Just try doing a search for what you need.

You guys didn't get DVDs with your books? Man, we are so lucky.
http://www.nursingcrib.com also has a lot of videos on practicals. Try searching youtube for "Medical Transfers" or something like that. Wish my text dvds were online. They rock.
