Help! I failed my nclex examination and need some helpful tips for taking it again!

Hello. I took my nclex exam 2 days ago and about 1 hour after i finished I went onto the Pearson vue website and tried the "trick" and I got the credit card page. I was devastated especially since everyone from my graduating class is passing it left and right. So after about an hour of being mad I decided to try Kaplan nclex review book. I ordered it so it should be here within the next week. I am just wondering how other people found their exam to be? I know they are all different but I found that everything I studied (I used Saunders book) was really not on the exam. I felt like some of the questions should have been on the RN exam. So did anyone experience that? Questions that you had not ever read about or have heard of before? Also how is the Kaplan book compared to the Saunders? Thank you for reading my post!

As to tell you i have taken NCLEX-RN exam more than once. Every time i was there i felt like i never really studied enough.I do not know whether it's because of anxiety level or something else .Every thing looked new to me and to tell you truth NCLEX-RN is not a predictable exam and nothing like that of nursing school where you can really know how much score you are going to get.During the entire exam i never felt like "okay this is the answer" but had to make educational guess and move on.Every individuals are different and these are my experience during the exam.I have not passed my exam yet but trying harder to conquer. Are you asking about the Kaplan course book that comes with the program or the strategy book??

Questions--are you going for the PN exam? If so, did you by chance get the NCLEX-RN book instead of a PN Saunders book?
