I graduated from a nursing program in May. I took nclex for the first time in June and failed with 265 questions. My school offered the hurst review so that's all I used. When I received my paper from the BON, I was near passing in all areas. I had taken it my second time the first of August and I failed again with 265 questions. I did the online Kaplan review for the second time around. I need some encouragement because I don't know what else to do. I was told if you make it to 265 you're very close to passing but my confidence is going down. I'm mentally and emotionally drained from all of it. I had a job offer in the NICU at a local hospital and now I'm afraid I'll lose my job. Any advice on how to overcome this beast?? Thanks!

Most people who passed have used UWorld with success. They said it was almost like the NCLEX, especially the layout and the level of difficulty. Plus, they have great rationales for every questions.

I recommend Uworld and keeping a notebook for the rationales. NCSBN is also good for content review and I hear they have a good question bank. Don't give up you CAN do this!!

I failed 4 TIMES...Yes, 4. I did Uworld, and I went in with the attitude this time that this is IT. I will pass. Uworld was AWESOME. It was the most like Nclex, I am a believer in Uworld for sure! Passed on 5th try with Uworld!
Is uworld the only thing you focused on? I hear great things about it. I'll have to check it out! I'm not losing hope. I know I will pass. Hopefully, third times a charm

Uworld helped me to pass on my first try. Highly recommend! The exposure to SATA questions will help you a lot for the nclex. Good luck!
