I took the NET and it was very easy-didn't study anything, and had nearly a perfect score in both main sections....I don't know much about the other test though.....

I believe in always being prepared. I took the NET test in June after being out of school for 20 years. I went to my local library and asked them for books on the nurse entrance exam. They came up with 3 excellent books. One was Barrons how to prepare for the nurse entrance exam. I studied for a few weeks and refreshed myself on basic math - lots of decimals - adding them, subtracting, dividing, lots of fractions, a little algebra. The other part of the test was reading comprehension that involves reading a few paragraphs and answering multiple choice questions about the story. One book even included a CD that allowed you to load a simulated timed test on your computer. Some people have problems with the test because you get limited time to do the test, usually 2 hours. It can be done either on a computer while other schools use paper tests. If you feel you lack in either reading or math I suggest doing the test problems in the books. It really helps. And if you have a problem with a math problem it explains easily how to find the solution. There is also an excellent site I found, http://www.testprepreview.com/ that was extremely helpful in preparing me. Better safe than sorry, I say study and prepare. Good luck!:blushkiss
