I have a community project to do, and we must advocate for a specific population that has a specific issue. We need to write a letter to a stakeholder who could change the current issue. For example, increasing handicap access at a local university. Population: handicapped Stakeholder: University. Population - bed/chair bound elderly Stakeholder: Public Library, Issue: to create a mail-in program so patients at home can continue to enjoy reading literature.
If anyone has any good ideas that is particularly on a small scale, please let me know. Thanks!

I saw a study recently that said fit kids are more likely to do better on standardized tests than unfit kids. Maybe you can pick one local elem school and pitch it to them to increase test scores by increasing PE and/or recess time. (I think I saw that article on this website, check in the nursing news section). It is good for the general health of the kids and good for the school because test scores could go up.
