Hi, I'm a LPN working and living in Gulfport. Have you looked into Ocean Springs, Singing River, or Biloxi Regional Hospitals?
E-mail me or send me a p.m. anytime.

Welcome to Mississippi... I live in the central part of the state in a small town just outside Jackson. Work in a small town community hospital and love it here.
From what I have heard and experienced, the Gulf Coast isn't really like the rest of Mississippi (small town, rural, slow paced) and if you work in Mobile... well, that's just another BIG CITY.
I agree with the other poster... try Singing River and/or Biloxi Regional. Biloxi Regional is owned by HMA which owns 8 or 9 hospitals in Mississippi and about 60 hospitals nationwide.
Good luck in your search for the right place. You have lots of options!

I live in Mobile. Moving halfway between the 2 cities & each of you commuting is a very feasible plan. Lucedale, MS is a lovely small town. (I think they may even still have a small hospital, but I'm not sure.) It's about 45 mins NW of Mobile.
thanks to all who replied...i will know more as time goes by...my instructors have been helpful as well.
