i have a few friends in the 2 year rn program, im in the 3 year rn program which is the last evening class. i anticipate graduating may 2010...
what are you going for/i understand there are many different programs available now.
I am looking to enter the 2yr. A.S program and then maybe finish out the BSN with there connection. I applied for Jan. 2010 and my file is complete, do you know how long my wait to find out may be. They told me I may not know until October, is that true. I know they filled the Sept. class, so I didn't think the wait would be that long considering that they move to the next class once one fills. Anything you know about the program, tips to get in, let me know. Thanks

Did you need to have all prereqs done prior to applying? Meaning, all your classes except the core nursing courses (A & P I, II, Micro, Psy, Nutrition, Statistics etc) At BCC, you are not able to apply (You can apply... but won't be accepted) until everything is complete. So basically it's taking 4 years for a 2 year degree. I'm just weighing my options now (although I've really enjoyed my time at BCC) but you can't even apply while finishing the last semester so you need to "sit out" a semester while waiting...
You need some of them done. Is there anyone out there accepted yet for the Jan 2010 class at Helene Fuld?
I would recommend doing your pre-reqs prior to starting.

not true.......you can apply during your last semester as long as you are taking classes there ans have taken the NET
As far as Helene Fuld is concerned....hope you the best.... Im going to Our Lady Of Lourdes 2010........ahh the waiting :)
Does anyone know if Chem 107 with lab taken at BCC is equivalent to taking General Chem 101 at Camden County (for Helen Fuld/Lady of Lourdes) ???
Thanks
Someone told me helene fuld is very expensive, true?
about $25K
Thank you for the response on the amount. Is there anyone who has been accepted for Jan. yet or anyone that can tell me anything about the program?

I just graduated in DECEMBER 08. It was still a three year program. I am not familiar with the course outline for the two year program. I was told by staff that they couldn't cut any corners just had to condense the material. I'm glad it was still a three year program, cause I felt it was tuff enough as it was. Staff is very supportive. They want their students to be successful. I don't know any anyone in my class that didn't pass the NCLEX. Hope this helps.
