Health office software

Currently we use CareDox and seem to be having a lot of issues lately. Also, we're not getting good response when we contact their support department. What software do you use & do you feel like your concerns/issues are handled promptly?

Skyward...health and nursing issues are at the bottom of the IT list.

We use SNAP and their IT is pretty great.

Our county uses EduPoint for everything. I'm not overly fond of their health parts. On the plus side, it gives the parents instant access. On the downside, I feel too many people have unfettered access to students' PHI.

My district uses Focus... not a super big fan of it, but we switched to it 2 years ago from terms which was alot codes to remember.

Love SNAP, $300/ yr lease +/- and have great customer support. We switched to RenWeb this year for whole school. Seems pretty intuitive and uses narrative notes, which my wife prefers, and you know the way it is, happy wife, happy life.

We use Infinite Campus. I like it, seems easy enough to get around, however I have nothing to compare it to.

We use eSchool Plus. There are a lot of issues with it. My favorite one is when it suddenly switches students on you while you are documenting, or refuses to save after you've entered a student's entire vaccine record.

Old Dude - Hurrah, a fellow Skyward user! Do you use the section for Nurse Office Visits, where you put the reason for visit, findings, etc? We don't, and the thought is it's impractical because you cannot easily remove the info once its there and you don't want it carry from year to year. I use mine for IHPs, contacts, Medicaid eligibility, attendance, stuff like that. I'm curious to see what you use it for :)

Yes we use the office visit feature and you're right about the information being permanent. What you can do is "Void" the entry and, even though it's still there, you can "hide" it from displaying. I also use the medication administration feature as well as vision/hearing/acanthosis results.

We use MMS and I hate it! Its very outdated and there are a lot of problems. Thankfully, our onsite tech coordinator deals with their IT department for us. There are days when its day all day and I cant access records, there are days when nothing saves, I could go on and on.
