Hello, has anyone ever worked as an RN for Healogics? Do the nurses work the hyperbaric chambers or is it the techs? How is the training for new employees? Do they help out if you want to be wound certified?

I do not work for Healogics but I do work in a wound care center with physicians who work in other wound care center that are run by Healogics. From my understanding in discussing this topic with them that the techs are trained for HBO treatment. This is a certification that have to have. Tech are not able to become "wound care certified" that I am aware of. Hope this helps.

Thank you for your input. I'm just surprised that no one has anything else to say since it appears to be a big company.

I am actually a Clinical Nurse Manager for Healogics. We mainly have techs working the HBO on a daily basis but we have all the RNs cross trained to supervise the techs. I cannot really comment on the policies to reimburse expenses like training and certification but I can say it is an excellent company to work for with superb benefits! Hope this helped some!
