Hello!

I am currently working on my prerequisites to apply for Nursing school by Sept. 1st. I am taking 4 classes this semester, including Intro to Healthcare. I was wondering, what is the class like? I am taking it online and saw that there is coursework required in class at the Medical Campus. I've never had to go into campus for an online course except for proctored exams so I'm a little confused. Can someone who has taken the class tell me exactly what you do/need and what I should expect?

Thanks!!!!

I'm registering for that class next semester and I had no idea about the on campus portion. I have seen so many threads of students who have been accepted, is there anyone who can answer this question?

@sarahgomez01 If no one can answer the question would you mind emailing your professor for an answer and posting it here.

Hi,

The campus component of the class is a practical lab. The professor will teach you how to take temperature, blood pressure, count respirations, wear protective equipment, etc. When I took the class it was just a one day session. Good luck to you all!
