Hey y'all!
I'm in the interview process for a couple of admission positions at some local HCA hospitals here in North Texas.
One huge factor for me trying to get a position with HCA is their Texas 2 Step program where they up front pay for your ADN in exchange for a two year work commitment and a promise to bridge during that two years.
Has anyone here done the program? If so, do you mind sharing the good, the bad, and the ugly? And maybe how the program works? Do they have classrooms in the hospital or do you go to El Centro for class?
I have a second interview at an OB office today, but they don't even offer tuition assistance. I want to work in women's health, but paid school would be amazing.
Thoughts?

Hello,
I noticed no one replied. I am actually in the beginning stages of meeting with the program director/nurse etc to get a packet and info. I will update you and let you know how the process goes. Good luck and I hope you got the job!
Thank you! Do you mind if I ask which location you are at? I have a second interview on Friday!

Hi! I work for Medical City McKinney and I’m applying through the Texas two step program. Are they competitive? Will it be a little easier for us to get in? How did the process go. I’ve sat down with my site coordinator and he told me what I needed as far as scores and the classes.
