U.S.A. Hawaii

Hi ?

Wondering if there's anyone around who's applying for the Spring 2020 BSN Program at HPU? Having trouble finding any info from others applying!

I have all A's & a couple B's for my prereqs and got a 73.3 on my TEAS.

Omg that’s so exciting!! I’m super nervous and I wasn’t sure if there was anybody else transferring from out of state but I’m glad to know someone else is

I'm from the Sac area, so not to far from there

Hi guys! I applied for the October 15th deadline. I’m hoping there are still spots available! I’m curious if anyone else applied to the second deadline?

Hi everyone,

I got accepted into the program as well. I am a current nursing student, so I am knowledge about the college. I applied on the second deadline and barely made the requirements for the TEAS and GPA. Make sure everyone is getting all their forms done, and paying the fees! Also, schedule your physicals and medical stuff. The first semester, classes are chosen for you.

Hey Kayla,

How do you like the program? I am looking to apply for Fall 2020. I take the TEAS at the end of November. Was it hard? Also, if you barely made the requirements for the TEAS & GPA, what made your application stand out? Thanks for all your help!

Hello! I actually just got accepted so I start in January. I studied for the TEAS for like a week-ish straight and got a 70 lol. I thought it was hard because I took A&P a year ago. It’s good to take it right away when your a&p classes are finished. I think I stood out because I’ve been a CNA for more than a year and I work at one of the top hospitals here in Hawaii. It’s easy to get in if you meet the requirements. Good luck!

I got accepted for Spring 2020 however I will be withdrawing my application.

When did you submit your application?? Do they accept current HPU students before transfer students?

I submitted mine October 12th. I believe all Acceptances/denials are all out already.

I’ve called the office so many times in the past week trying to get an update but every time they say they won’t know any decisions for the second deadline until the 15th? So frustrating! I meet all of the requirements so I don’t know why I wouldn’t get accepted!
