Having trouble finding placement in Texas

Published

I graduated from nursing school in Dec. 2005 and it took me until March of 2006 to get my license. I started working for the "small" town hospital which is close to my home. Its ture what they say nurses do eat their young. I worked there 1 month and changed shifts 1 time and it didnt help.

I am wondering if every where is like this. I am willing to work but i think i am going to have to drive to the big city to find any work. I am 2 hours north of DFW. I submitted my application to a hospital an hour away, but i guess they are hiring new grads., which is basicaly what i am.

If anyone know of a place in the DFW area or north of there that is hiring can you please post it.

Thanks

If you are within commuting distance of Denton, then University Behavioral Health is a small psychiatric hospital that is hiring PRN LVNs. Also, HCR ManorCare in North Richland Hills always hires LVNs in their rehab unit, usually at the rate of $18.00 hourly with no experience necessary.

I live 45mins north and west of Wichita Falls if you know where that is.

So its still a coulpe of hours drive to Denton. But thanks for the reply.
