Have most of you taken AP with Micro?

When I first spoke with the counselor she had told me the norm for pre nursing was to take Chemistry, then AP 1, then AP 2 with Micro.

However a friend of mine talked to a different counselor, and she said not to do this(I has spoken with the 'head').

So I'm wondering if this truly is the norm?

Here's why I ask;

I can take AP 1 & 2 in Fall with a super difficult instructor

Or

AP 1 in Fall m, then AP 2 in Spring with Micro.

Thanks!

Pardon the typos - I'm on my phone. :)

I took ap2 and micro together plus labs. It was a ton of work and wasn't easy. If you have time to do the required work then i believe you'll do just fine. Good luck! It's a TON of memorization and pre critical thinking.

I just finished the summer with taking AP I and Micro together and I passed both classes. AP I with an "A" and Micro "B". It was hard but its doable. My counselor asked me will I be able to pull them off also and I told him yes.

As long as you've taken general biology then you can take on any of them in pretty much any order. Also, A&PII was probably the easiest science course I had to take.

I've not taken General Biology since high school. :/

It was one of those classes that was "recommended" instead of required. Poppycock I say! :specs: I ended up taking it in between both A&P's and now whenever my nursing friends ask me if they should take it I have to control myself to not scream at them.

Took a&p 2 and lab with micro and lab last semester and although it was a lot of work, it was totally doable. Ended up with an A in a&p and a B in micro.

I'm going to take A&P1 this fall, then take A&P2 and hopefully Micro next spring. I just want to get a feel for A&P this semester

I took a&p I with micro (+precalc and english lit) I did fine. It's doable as long as you prioritize.

This is what I did last semester and I got all A's and B's

At my school, they won't allow you to take A&P I with mirco. You have to take it after you've passed A&P I.

It is completely doable. I took A&P1 Fall 2012 and A&P2 with Micro and the labs in Spring 2013. I got A's in both courses + labs. Its a lot of work and it depends on your other course work and who you are as a student.
