Hey Guys!
I need some guidance! So I took my nclexpn 2006! Didnt pass, so now Im finally ready to get my life together . I called the board and I have to resubmit ALL paper work! Here is the problem. The college I attended is now closed. I have official transcripts but they also require a record of nursing program that only the school can give you. I called the BPPE and the only thing they can help with is the transcripts. Does anybody know if the board will allow me to retest without submitting that form?
Thanks so much for your time and all infor is greatly appreciated .

This may be going out on a limb, but my school uses a educational clearhinghouse to manage transcripts and enrollment information. You could try finding a clearinghouse that may have the documents/info you need. Try going to this webstite and see if you can find out anything - National Student Clearinghouse
Best of luck to you! I hope this all works out in your favor.

I'm not an "insider", but it is my understanding that the standard process for closure of a nursing program includes archiving information that may be needed by graduates in the future. The specifics are dictated by the state's BON or whatever agency is responsible for approving and managing nursing education in that state. So maybe you should check with your BON to see if they can help you get the information you need.
Are you required to take a refresher course since it's been so long since you graduated?
