Have you ever heard of this many SATA?

Published

If I read what I am about to write, I would be sure that this person must be exaggerating! I got 75 questions on the NCLEX today and 33 were SELECT ALL THAT APPLY! Has anyone ever heard of that? I got no math, one audio and one chart. And 33 SATA- I was traumatized. I sat in my car and cried :crying2:for an hour before I could even drive home. I did Kaplan, scored in the 99th percentile on HESI but I am sure failed the NCLEX! Kaplan did not prepare me for this. They had ONE section on alternate format with only 27 questions and they were a mix of SATA, hotspot, fill in the blank... I am freaking out!!!!

wow! that right there is scary. well good luck on your result. i'll be praying for ya.

Wow that's like torture I'm going to pray u.

I can't believe you got that many! It has to mean you were doing really well. Good luck to you! Let us know how you do. I test on the 28th (and freaking out).

WOW, that makes me sooo much more nervous!! Good luck with your results...have you tried the trick to see if you had passed yet?

Hopefully 15 of those are the test test questions so they dont count for or against you. That is ridiculous. The NCLEX is seriously flawed if it screwed you that hard ( well it is flawed but thats another topic )

I didn't count, for my own sanity. But I and several of my friends (much smarter than I) got a LOT of SATA and ordering questions. All higher levels, which in theory should mean you were passing the questions so the test kept asking harder and harder questions. I know how awful it feels, but it's likely a good sign. Hang in there!

Thats scary and Im afraid that this is gonna be my luck next week. If I get that many SATA, i know im gonna have trouble. Were the SATA questions hard?

i was praying for many sata questions because those are higher level questions meaning you are doing well. this is in theory and how i understood the computerized adaptive testing (cat) for the nclex-rn, which can be found on their website

I had that many! Every other question was a SATA on my test. I felt good about it. I don't know if it's true, but I felt like they were higher level questions. I passed! Good luck to you, I'm sure it is a sign that you did great on the test.
