I know everyone *STRONGLY* suggests retaining counsel in regards to a BON hearing. I get it. Believe me, I *WISH* there was any remote possibility of making that happen. I am honestly facing homelessness at this point and will take a job in fast food if it’s the only thing I can find. I don’t have a spouse, I don’t get child support, I don’t have the kind of credit to borrow money, and I have nothing saved up— my hearing is in less than a month. I simply will not have an attorney.
Has anyone made it through this without a lawyer? Missouri does not have any rehabilitation programs to avoid discipline, so I’ll likely be disciplined at the very least. I’d love some input from anyone who was unable to utilize an attorney during this process.
Thank you!

I ended up firing my lawyer and negotiated a better deal with my States Assistant Attorney General. It honestly depends of the situation. Pm me if you wanna chat!

My lawyer was of great service to me and will be even when I go up for reinstatement next year.
