Has anyone got from respiratory therapist to nursing?

Just a little background I’ve been an RT for almost 4 years now. The last 2 in critical care. I considered getting a bachelors and shooting for PA school or ECMO/perfusionist but it’s not really my cup of tea. I decided to go to nursing school because I want to care for the whole patient not just respiratory. Which schooling was harder in your opinion? Do you think that my RT background will help me or will it hinder me. How did the clinicals differentiate? TIA!
