Hello everyone,
I have been accepted to Eastern International College's ADN program at the Belleville location for Spring 2021. I've seen mixed reviews on this school but I was wanting to hear what everyone on here thought about the program. I have had a long journey with college. I started school in Fall 2018 as a part-time student and was studying business throughout 2019. I was originally shooting for Healthcare Admin but it wasn't until this year that I decided I wanted to be clinically involved in the healthcare system so I began taking nursing prerequisites.
I was attending a traditional 4-year institution and would have gone to their Nursing program but since I decided to change my majors so late, I wouldn't be able to apply until late next year and wouldn't start my nursing courses until 2022. I can't wait that long to start my career so I am deciding to go the for-profit route. It's pricey but I just want to get my RN license at this point. I've tried looking at community colleges but those programs are sequential and I wouldn't be able to graduate till 2023 at this point.
Since EIC is an accelerated program, I'll be able to finish a lot sooner since I have essentially all the general education courses transferring over. I just wanted to know for sure that this is a legitimate program or not before I commit to it. Thank you!
