I have been so frustrated with this site lately. My old account stopped working because of password issues and I tried asking for the email to change my password over 6 times and never got any emails for it. When I first started using this site, I had similar issues but I always somehow got logged on anyways. Am I the only one having issues with my account? I am fairly sure it was not blocked or anything....

Have read several posts from people who have got new accounts because they said they couldn't remember their old account info. I guess they never bothered to try to get the info with help from the admins.

Going the email route was not a bad idea, but AN staff members can receive hundreds of emails a day.
A more efficient method of making contact is to use the Help Desk link at the bottom of the page and post your questions there. It may take a day or two to get a response because the staff is all volunteer, but someone will answer you. Provide as much information as possible about both the old account and the new one.
We understand that people forget passwords and have other problems that might cause them to open a second account. It is, however, against the Terms of Service to keep more than one account active, so you will be asked which account you want to keep and which one you want closed.

The reason I couldn't remember is because they had me change my password several times and I lost the paper where the new passwords were written. I have tried emailing the admins several times with no replies. I can never get ahold of them when I need them.

I am one of the admins. We would be happy to address your concerns. As rn/writer suggested earlier, please post a new thread in the Admin Help Desk where you can address the entire admin team.
