So much we come here to vent. I just wanted to share a happy story.
I have a patient. Female. Was thrown from the back of a motorcycle two weeks ago.. Glasgow Coma Scale Rating of 3. She is now up with a walker, eating a normal diet, A&Ox3.She will be gong home very soon.We all have been tearing up over her recovery.

I have a patient, 25, male, had a motorcycle accident 4 weeks ago, GCS6, he will never come out this state and will get referred to a SNF It makes me happy to see that some will recover from this, thanks for sharing!

That is AWESOME!!! I love to hear things like this......makes me goose-bumpy all over. :)
She got out for Thanksgiving dinner with her family yesterday.

That's awesome! I'm sure her fantastic nursing care helped her get this far!
