Hallmark College San Antonio TX

Hello everyone!

I recently got accepted to Hallmark's nursing program! And I am super happy but at the same time a bit nervous! Can someone please give me some advice on how their program is like? How their professors and the whole program function because this is a 16 month program not the usual 2 year program for an ADN. And what to expect as I start school this upcoming May. Is there also anyone out there that got accepted into this program if so leave a comment.

This is a new commercial (for profit) program with only initial approval from TxBON and no track record in terms of NCLEX pass rates. Please keep posting your impressions here on AN to provide others with some insight that may help them make a more informed educational choice.

Its a brand new program that is why there is no records of NCLEX pass rate. Im a bit nervous about the program, can you give me any advice on how to tackle the program?

I am interested in Hallmark as well. And if you google them they are not for profit, however only initial approval makes me wary of them.

I am currently at this school. I like the program, it's challenging without being overwhelming. You can see the pass rate on the TX BON. I plan on getting my bsn from a nationally accredited program so I am not worried about them just being approved by the tx Bon. I suppose if you only plan on doing your rn that may be a valid concern. Do you all have have other questions?

lol Yes I am. I'm a lurker on this site. I messaged a guy who went to Hallmark to get more info before I started. There's so little on this site from people who have been to this school (or the net period), so I think it's important to tell people what the program is like. Especially for people like me who must research literally EVERYTHING

I wish this school was CCNE accreddited though:facepalm: *le sigh*
