Greetings all! I am considering a new hairstyle. My hair is a little below my shoulders and I usually put it in a pony-tail or up with a twist. I know that I will need to have my hair up and out of the way during clinicals, so I am contrasting the "pulling long hair up and away", or some kind of neat and professional short style. Please give me your favorite way to wear your hair for clinicals/while nursing, short vs. long-up,up,and away.:heartbeat:nurse::heartbeat
I do enjoy a nice little bob that skims right below my chin. Only problem, I am extremely hot natured and I seem to sweat very easily (maybe menopausal). So at that length it is usually too short to put up yet lays on the back of my neck making me even hotter. So I guess I will narrow it down to either really short, up off my neck, or keep it long enough, but neatly trimmed, to put up and away.
My own hairstyle is medium lenght shoulder with a lot of layers,I think it is the best hairstyle because it is easier to maintain it plus the hair remind long so you can try different hairstyles. As far as other nurses,I see a lot of them with their hair down,so I think as long it is not in your face or against patient you can definitely wear it,I guess much depends on your personal preferences!!
And forgot to say, my hair is baby fine-I mean thin!!! I do all kinds of product to try and fatten it up!! I try to thin out my body and fatten up my hair-the grass is always greener-lol:D
I think a lot of layers, blond highlights are one way to make your hair look fuller.Regulat visits to your hairstylist to trim the endings are another.

I think any hair style that can be out of the way is best. I had long hair for years and finally went to a bob. I love my bob and styling it :) Best of all no pony tail needed and its never in my way. I do miss my length at times though!
