Had blood taken yesterday, now my arm is a painful mess? Anyone know what's happened?

Hi all,

I had blood drawn yesterday and now my arm has bruising tracking down my forearm. It's quite painful. Anyone have any idea what happened? I am a nurse but am not trained to bleed patients so have very little knowledge. The site is not hot to touch nor red. I will upload a photo if possible

Because this is a professional forum for nurses to discuss nursing. Because it is out of our scope of practice to dispense any type of medical advice and could result in us losing our licenses and facing legal charges. Because these kind of issues need to be evaluated by a real person who can do a proper assessment not a bunch of strangers on the internet who may or not actually be nurses.
