I am about to apply to both USM and William Carey. I've asked around alot and gotten mixed opinions about which has a better program. I'm mainly concerned about coming out of the program with the best skill set possible. I know WC is more but I have a scholarship there which makes them about equal. I just don't want to leave the program ready for the workforce and find out it wasn't adequate training. Please!!!! As much info as possible about the gulf coast programs!!
ANYONE???? I've applied to both now and will find out in March and April if I made both programs.

Hello! I hope you got into a program:) I go to william carey university by far it's a really good school! the instructors are incredibly smart and reliable. They seriously prepare you for the real world nursing and nclex rn. Good luck
I got accepted to both but chose USM. I never got enough info on WC but knew of graduates from USM. I'm always hearing that MGCCC JD has the most technically competent grads which is disheartening
Well as long as you are happy with the type of education you are getting. I have one more term left and I do the mighty Saturday program:( been an LPN for 5 years. But you are what you make of your education and nursing is really more OJT. On the job training:) especially if you choose a specialty... As for me I have worked with Peds and I prob will stick to Peds because I love it. Hope all is well!
