I had an awesome day at my ED clinicals!!!! I even noticed blood in my shoes when I got home and have a blister on the heel of my palms to prove it was a great day!
The blood is from my many attempts to start IVs.
The blister is from my first time performing CPR!
Thank you to all the awesome nurses and tech staff who are helpful and taught me and gave me opportunities to do new stuff!
I pray one day I can pay it forward!!!

That's great! Store this one away & be prepared to haul it out when you have a bad day.

Not to be cynical, but also be prepared to haul it out during interviews for your first RN position! It'll be a great story of initiative and performance under duress! :)

That's awesome!! I'm glad you had a great day. Write down what all you did. You may need to write about it at the end of your program. Some ask for papers on your experiences.
Xoemmylouox: I do have to write a paper for school on my experience. [emoji3] I should probably write out a personal journal record of the day.
