Grand Canyon RN-BSN

Published

Is there any updated information? I have been in heavy contact with them and am looking at taking their RN-BSN program. I work with a GCU grad and she has nothing but positive things to say, but I want more opinions. ?

Any pro's and cons? Thankfully the only class I'm missing is stats and that is offered in the actual BSN program. I'm a bit nervous as my algebra skills are way old. If anyone took this class, do you have any advice?

Me too! Me Too! :roflmao: If anyone knows which ones to stay away from ANY classes, please PM me. I know the "good" one for stats to take, but nothing else."

Yeah, same here :) I'm about to finish up Family Centered blah blah and my instructor has been awesome, really hope to get her again. Tell me who to avoid!

You can look at the faculty list on GCU website and see if your fab instructor teaches anything else (almost all of them teach more than one class I've noticed) and ask your advisor to put you in her class again next time :)

I'm starting Health Assessment on the 23rd. If anyone has had a good instructor for that class please pm me their name. I'm currently scheduled in a class with an instructor that no one seems to have heard of. I'm considering calling my adviser next week and finding out some other options.

Hey all it's been awhile! I am finishing up my 1st week at GCU and so far so good. My instructor is really nice and very helpful. I can use some more GOOD instructors names if anyone can PM me with them ;) My instructors name isn't even on the teachers list but she is good so far.

Hi guys! I have been following the GCU threads for a long time now. In fact tokmom's initial thread is what helped me make up my mind to do the RN-BSN program at GCU. Anyhow I am in my last week of Professional Dynamics and have enjoyed the class. I am getting ready to start Family Centered Health promotion next week and have Renita Holmes as my instructor. I was wondering if anyone has had her and if she was good? Please PM me if you have any feedback about her. I would really appreciate it! Also if you guys have the names of good instructors for the other classes especially Patho I would really appreciate it if you could PM me. I know JRich and tokmom both said they had great instructors for their Capstone so if you guys could PM the name of that instructor that would be great too! Thanks! All of your post have been so encouraging, informational and helpful!
