Is there any updated information? I have been in heavy contact with them and am looking at taking their RN-BSN program. I work with a GCU grad and she has nothing but positive things to say, but I want more opinions. ?
Any pro's and cons? Thankfully the only class I'm missing is stats and that is offered in the actual BSN program. I'm a bit nervous as my algebra skills are way old. If anyone took this class, do you have any advice?
Winter I am wondering the same, even though one of the students in our class says it does but this double and triple work each week that almost seems to be the same as the previous week is driving me crazy. Oh and how are we suppose to fit the Lit review in 2000 max words? I already have 600 and that's only for 2 articles! 3 more weeks and I can't wait!
My Review of Lit was 15 pgs, 3540 words and she didn't comment on it at all. Wk 3's assignment does however have the word count built into the rubric (1500-2000) so I was more careful on that. When I removed my title page and references to check body-of-paper-actual-count it came to 2019 and she didn't mark down.
Winter, in wk 3 you will also feel like you're repeating yourself some because you have to clearly describe the problem, which you already did in wk 1's prob description and again in wk 2's theory paper. I asked Prof in a PM if I could just use my previous weeks' info or if that would be considered self-plagiarizing, and she asked me to paraphrase it a bit. I took that to mean don't copy/paste. I thought wk 3 was hard because it's translating your plan into real-life, but other students said they thought wk 3 was a welcome relief (?). Don't know about wk 4 cause I haven't started my 2 assignments yet, but I need to be careful because they also have word counts on the rubric.
I agree with Flames, "just say NO" to the extra shifts. I wouldn't tell them why (at my job I was told up front when I started this school thing that it CANNOT interfere with my work), so I would just politely decline and tell them you have previous obligations and you just are not available this week (or for the next 3 frankly). You only have one shot at this, they can take advantage of you anytime LOL.
She keeps telling people to not worry about the word count, so I am not. It got better this morning. They wanted me to come in and work on the summer schedule! I said do it and I'll sign off on it. Hey if all else fails I get my BSN I'll go find another job. And at the pay rate I'm getting currently just about anything would be better.
How many of you noticed in the exemplar that it appears as though the theory and the implementation piece is mislabeled, and not divided at the right spot?
I need this answered. I'm in week two of Cap. Does it get better after week two when lit reviews are all done? My stress level is off the charts and my boss wants me to pick up extra hours this week. I only have 2.5 days to do all of this weeks work. I need to breathe.
How many addendum are you including? Don't forget those that are coming up I week 3 and or 4.

It looks better as I look ahead! One has to worry about them-self, I sure would not be picking up extra shifts..personal health can't be overlooked!! All you need is to be stressed out and get sick!!
